Our R&D center, with its 3,300 m² space, boasts one of the most comprehensive polyurethane-focused infrastructures in the region.
BYFLEXX® TPU is a local innovation offering global performance. Producing our own polyester polyols gives us a major advantage in developing special formulations, while digital twin technology and AI-supported process optimization have increased energy efficiency and reduced production losses.
BYCHEM R&D focuses on green technologies and nature-based solutions with a multi-disciplinary approach aiming to strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
Our aromatic TPU products stand out with their flexibility, durability, and strength, and are designed to cover all variants based on polyester polyol, polyether polyol, polycaprolactone polyol, and polycarbonate polyol. The production process will initially focus on aromatic types and will later expand to include aliphatic TPU variants.
Composite and compound versions of TPU with other polymers will also be part of our portfolio; all our products will be fully compliant with REACH, RoHS, FDA, FCA, and EU regulations.

Our R&D activities aim to provide customized solutions and perform formula adjustments to effectively meet customer demands. We provide tailored solutions for various industries with our umbrella brand BYFLEXX® TPU, which represents BYCHEM’s flexibility and engineering capabilities.
In the footwear and sports equipment segment, we offer lightweight sole and upper surface solutions with high abrasion resistance; in the automotive sector, we develop special compounds with high heat resistance and enhanced conductivity.
Our halogen-free flame-retardant formulations stand out in electrical, electronics, and cable applications, while in textiles and films, we provide breathable membranes and flexible coatings for "dri-fit" fabrics.
Thanks to our academic–industry collaborations, we carry out PhD-level research projects and offer our customers a “collaborative innovation” model.
